Loring Job Corps Center is located within the boundaries of the Loring Commerce Centre, which is managed by the Loring Development Authority (LDA). The Loring Commerce Centre is an 8,700 acre former military installation (Loring Air Force Base) which is the closest proximity in the Continental United States to Europe, the Middle East and the Commonwealth of Independent States (which is why the base had such strategic value).

We depend on the municipal and other support services provided by the LDA to maintain our high quality of life around our Center.
